MonoMonday: 'Distant' Past

When I saw Tokoroa's blip this morning, it reminded me about Mono Monday. (Thanks P!) This is the first time I've joined in.

This photo may not represent the very distant past of photography but it's the earliest known photo of my paternal Grandfather. He's the one on the left. The other boy is his older brother. He looks about 3 so it must have been taken around 1911.

I decided to Blip him because it's his photos of London from the early 1930s that I'm taking the modern day comparison shots of in my Then and Now series. He always had a camera with him and I learned about photography by watching him whenever we went to stay.
