The Village Slip

Most of the houses in the village have their own slip but this is the main one, which is used by anyone who doesn't have their own, or by visitors. Looks in a poor way just now, but is strimmed of seaweed and cleaned up in the spring, ready for use!

 Ours is in the foreground, just this side of it, much steeper and generally covered with stones, rather than weed!  

Mike was busy out on the front today making sure the dinghy and the raft were well secured in case the wind got up again.  Lots of rope and sand bags!  


Made a chocolate cake in the new oven - works a treat!
