Bonfire day!

Apologies for the quality of the photo but It was getting dark and the poor old i phone prefers weather and light like in yesterday's photo! If I'd thought about it earlier, it would have been ok because we had another day of blue sky.
I spent a while trying to do my first French tax return today, which is already late, but soon gave up as I couldn't find all the paperwork, and anyway I wanted to be outside. I pruned the fig, a couple of apple trees and a pear tree, and then had a bonfire to get rid of the prunings.
Mr Frenchtoast spent most of the day on the roof. But the new internet works so far, and is much faster!
