The cockpit

Last week I wrote and submitted a short story to MASH stories. It had to contain the words ‘cockpit’, ‘blow-dryer’ and ‘honesty’. I was shortlisted in an earlier competition. My story is based at a cock-fighting pit, like the one at St Fagan’s Folk Museum which we visited on Sunday.

Not a pleasant history, but I do like the building.
