Discovered a lovely shrub

A few weeks ago I released a small shrub from being completely choked by a group of bully shrubs. It was one I hadn't noticed before and clearly related to box. I have now found that it is flowering profusely and the delicate white flowers are giving off a surprisingly pleasant fragrance for mid-winter. Not only that, but I can see myself reflected in each of the small shiny black berries. It is a Sarcococca species, probably confusa, and has the common name of Sweet or Christmas Box. What a great find! I recommend this winter-flowering, shade-tolerant evergreen shrub.
