Geese May Safely Graze

Canada Geese grazing alongside the river.  
A gamekeeper friend of mine says Canada Geese are not welcome as they damage grazing pasture and destroy bankside vegetation which is used as a nesting habitat for other waterfowl.
Greylag Geese also cause damage, but not to the extent of Canada Geese.
