Being WildCardinal...

The road to Basingstoke

An early-ish start to get over to Bracknell for a customer meeting this morning.  It all went really well (we thought it should, but there's often something unexpected that will trip you up).

Stayed for lunch (they have a great canteen with some of the food being restaurant level) and then headed home to plough through the emails.

Off to chair the camera club committee  meeting this evening.  It had rather stagnated over the last few years, so we're working to update ourselves.

In other news...  my view of politicians has hit an all time low (and I do follow politics quite a bit).  David Cameron's latest on security/privacy would take us further into monitoring than Russia, Iran or China - added to which it isn't technically feasible anyway.  It's a bit long, but please read this: http://boingboing.net/2015/01/13/what-david-cameron-just-propos.html.  Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox now.
