Early on the backwaters

Fishing takes place here in many forms and at many times but mostly in the mornings. We are on an island - Vypin Island which is a long thin stip of land between the Keralan backwaters and the Arabian Sea. We cross over this strip of backwaters when we go for breakfast in the small town nearby and these fishermen were out in force this morning
