Snowrise

Tempted last night by the potential for clearing cloud and a touch of snow, I set my sunrise alarm clock and awoke to tweeting birds.  I love my alarm clock - it’s such a gentle awakening.  

There were no tweeting birds in reality and it felt a little cold.  Peeping between the curtains, I spotted a dusting of snow and that was all it took to know I was heading out early.

I wasn’t quite sure what was going to happen in the sky as there were plenty of clouds moving around but it turned into something quite beautiful for quite some time.
