The Orchard Gate

As you can see the farmer rarely uses this gate into the orchard, which very often is home to a small flock of sheep.  I did not venture into town this morning.  I was frightened off by the weather forecasts.  At my age, I should know better.  It was a glorious morning, however I made good progress with trawling the Parish Magazines of 1980 and 81 for interesting snippets.
