A little bit of hailstone came down overnight which had thawed and then frozen so at 6.30 this morning I was out walking the Bryn to see what the road was like. There is a sharp 90 degree bend which is all down hill towards the main road which is always a nightmare, the council don't grit this road so armed with table salt I scattered the corner and thankfully had no mishaps getting down. Traffic horrendous going to work, road works on the A55 meant all cars etc were trying to find an alternative route. Took me an hour to travel 11 miles grrrrrrr so was late for my first visit of the day. Cold but lovely and sunny first thing but the day ended with rain and the winds are picking up.
