First this winter.

On opening my bedroom blinds this morning I saw the first sign of snow in my part of the country, this winter. (The image shows PART of the view from my bedroom window, zoomed out to squeeze between rooftops.) There had been a slight, but noticeable sprinkling of it, and I soon discovered that it had frozen on the car windscreen. Yes, it was a chilly morning.
