Heron on the prowl

It's not long now until I head over to Japan and do some bird photography, something I'm not that experienced in doing so I thought I should at least get into the habit of using the best of the lens I have for the trip, the 150-600mm Tamron. It's really nice and sharp as I found when I spotted the Heron on the Water of Leith trying to find something to eat.
