Load of Logs

Our friend Rubes arrived this morning with a trailer full of hardwood logs (£120) - we had a good natter whilst we emptied the trailer then he went off to work on the Valente (one of the Menai Mussel boats).

I spent the next couple of hours stacking the logs on shelves in the garage, made a bit more room by throwing out some junk.

Jason the window cleaner arrived just after midday, whilst he was finishing off cleaning the windows the rain started, then the wind picked up and the weather is now horrendous - blowing a gale and pouring with rain.

The Sailor's ship is sheltering off the coast of Ireland, their arrival date in Liverpool keeps getting put back, this weather is causing no end of disruption.
