Weaving Harris Tweed

I was working in the garden this morning when I heard a sound that used to be very common around here, but I have not heard for quite some time. So I took my camera and went to visit my neighbour, Alasdair, working on his Hattersley Loom weaving Harris Tweed. The "clickety-clack" used to be heard all through the village. When you see the work involved you can appreciate why Harris Tweed is the high-quality item that it is famed, and why it is so sought after as a crafts product.
