Cold and condensation

1930's metal window frames look lovely but ..... we can't have double glazing so there is always condensation in winter, and despite the heavy curtains, the hall gets cold.  There was just a little snow overnight, but the wind was so cold that after slithering along our road to call on a friend, I stayed inside.  Mostly I was getting frustrated with trying to organise a spa day for No 2 daughter's 40th, but eventually got some slots at Matfen Hall where we've been before and they had a deal as good as any of the TravelZoo ones.  Then I got a sore shoulder with working on the Mac for the rest of the day doing my Year Book - all done, just waiting for  criticism  approval from the editorial committee Mr C.

Sometimes the excitement of retirement is just too much.
