Winter sunshine

I haven't blipped a rose for a while. It is rather remarkable to see them blooming in mid-January. In other news, S went to check on the broad beans and found them crawling with caterpillars. C'est pas normal !


I've done quite a bit of reading since being laid low with a cold. The Christmas book pile is going down fast! Today I finished The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, which was much better than I thought it was going to be. That's my fifth book this year!
