Distant Dartmoor Snow

 

On the way to Launceston distant views of Dartmoor showed a sprinkling of snow. There was even a little lying in fields and on the road side here and there. Similarly on the way back the tops of Brown Willy & Rough Tor had a white dusting. At Widemouth the strong winds were whipping up the waves. Back home the birds are stocking up with some of the goldfinches feeding on the verbena bonariensis seed heads
