100 Days to 100 Years

On April 25th 1915 ANZAC Troops (Australia and New Zealand Army Corps) landed in Gallipolli, an event that was catastrophic for both our nations. And so April 25th is our Day of Rememberance - ANZAC Day. In our town from today at 6pm, at the War Memorial Clock Tower, and every day for 100 days ending on ANZAC Day, a Bugler will sound 'Last Post' and names will be read of the men and women from the district who made the supreme sacrifice.  Today was pretty emotional - I hope to be there often in the next 100 days................
