Bridgewater canal

A rainy morning on the way to work.

In the distance on the left of the canal you can see the top of the stands at Old Trafford.
I strained my ears and was sure I could hear the quiet sobbing of Manchester United fans only just audible over the sound of the rain on the water ;-)

At lunchtime a BEAUTIFUL boquet of flowers was delivered to me at work!
They were from a dear frieend in london to cheer me up after sad recent events.

This evening Gorgeous Fella was here and presented me with a gift.
A new charm for my bracelet.
An engagement ring charm - to signal his intentions and 'test the water'!!!
