Water, water everywhere....

I think that at the moment there is one thing we can all agree on in our locality - we have never, ever seen as much water on the ground - EVER! The rain seems to have been bad pretty much through all of December. Two days ago we had snow, which melted last night to leave even more water. This photo is taken from Port of Ness, looking back through the crofts there, onto Loch Stiapabhat, then through to Lionel and Fivepenny Machairs (common grazing for livestock) - it is almost one massive body of water. I am not looking at the weather forecast anymore!
