Water and snow

A different view of the Teith flooding into the Meadows in Callander. The river channel usually follow a line behind the wall in the centre left of the picture and there is a path and benches between it and the river. the curved area on this side of the wall is a car park. A heavy fall of snow yesterday, around 6 inches, has more or less melted and the water levels are rising again.

I took this at about 4pm and was delighted to realise that it was still quite light, a big improvement on a few weeks ago when it was dark by 3.30.
