A sticky end

A slow, lingering death … if you’re a small insect. Drosera capensis, the Cape Sundew.

Nikon D5200 Tamron 70-300mm ƒ4 80mm 1/125 ISO 100

Starting to get a handle on the macro thing. A longer focal length lens gives a much better working distance but illumination is still tricky. Think I need some more practice before I start on moving objects that fly away! Maybe a slug?
