The lake holidays continue.

There is something about living permanently in an area where people holiday that makes us get into the holiday mode too....all of January!
Some old family friends from when we were farming in the hills of Onewhero many years ago are renting holiday homes nearby along with their families so late this afternoon we loaded 24 adults and children onto the boat and cruised around to our favourite spot of Humphreys Bay where almost everyone jumped off the boat for a swim.
Then it was party time with a few drinks and shared nibbles as we sat enjoying the sun before heading back home. Life is pretty good.
