Gather Round Now..............

Come on cygnets, gather round, and that includes you over my shoulder......!!

This is how we eat our food, beaks in the water and pull a little bit of weed, bit of a work around in the beak then a little sip of water and swallow.

When you grow up like your mummy, you'll be able to show off to those humans by up-ending yourself, so only your bottom is showing above the water, those humans always like a photo of a nice bottom..........!!

When we go back to the nest later i'll talk you throught the hazards of living here on the Fort Brockhurst Moat, if it's not the foxes above the water line it's the 40lb Pike below the waterline you need to worry about. Oh, and then there's the discarded fishing tackle, hooks, line and sinkers.........!!

Other than that, lifes a breeze.........!!

Oh did i tell you , come september your dad and i want our moat back, we'll chase you, harass you, peck you, try and drown you.
