High-Minded

Yes, I know you may find
this hard to believe, but my mind
(I’m assuming it’s safe to confide
in you?) is often occupied
by the truly trivial
(what’s on TV?
what can I have for tea?)
and also the mundane
(Polaroid blipfoto –  how long
before its wings fall off?).
But today my thoughts are on
a higher plane.
