Jolly Boat

Spent the morning cooking and then finding things to do in the warm kitchen, consequently the ironing is done and we have a nice clean kitchen floor!  

Back along to the boats this afternoon - too windy and chilly to go very far afield!  This little jolly boat is my favourite of the old boats.  It has a ring at either end of it so it could be lowered over the side of a bigger boat to transfer sailors or supplies to the shore.  More about them here.  Unfortunately it is in a poor state and I don't know how long it will survive, but I have taken lots of photos of it!

The council gritting lorry has just driven past, it's going to be another icy night!
