Moorhen. Well a Male one anyway?

Although today was cold.It was a good day for a walk to feed the ducks @ our many times mentioned Historic Moat.
  Plenty of ducks and birds there this time of the year!  The Moorhens appreciate the cover given by the hedged surround and good standing of trees.
 Fortunately our stand of Ash have not been affected by the 'Dieback' desease? Some must be well over 100 years old.And make up,with the Oaks,the largest number of deciduous trees in the area.
