A sunny day

H: today was sunny but icy. S headed off to Pathhead for a fiddle lesson first thing snd then fed the tups on the way home. She says one of the tups is getting a bit big for his boots. Then we went to Gifford. Had an early lunch, a walk and then I spent the afternoon in the hairdressers with S, making sure that her hair was just right. There is something wrong with the Defender, so S is going to take it to the garage. More expense. S took this photo to show how sunny it was today. The highland cattle at Kidlaw are standing in their field in front of an Iron Age fort, the limestone quarries, kilns and a building from WW2 which was a searchlight post. So much history in one field.
