Cold, dark, winter starts soon, I fear

In spite of my horrible gas/electricity bill I put the heating on tonight.
Went to see my horse straight after work but so tired and exhausted that I just stuffed some apples into her, gave her a good scratch and left again.
That's me going into hibernation.
