"Lichen" It

The sun is shining for the first time is 5 days here..finally able to get outside and the temperature is warm!   Took the good dog for a walk along the forest path which is our favorite place and she can be let off leash.  After all the rain I was hoping to see some mushrooms pop up but instead the lichen was just shiny and beautiful.  Saw several varieties but this one is my favorite of the day.
