Against the elements

Partly as we needed to get some fresh air, partly because Sienna needed to expend some energy (and not on Quizz Up on the iPad!) and partly as I had new hiking boots to try...we headed out into the winter gale.

First hurdle was to manhandle Sienna out of the actual car where she had assumed a completely rigid pose in order to prevent any involvement in the walk, then it was negotiating deep mud while trying to keep my new boots clean and then it was remaining upright in the seriously strong wind.

Eventually Sienna started to enjoy the walk (as they always do) and was delighted when she asked one of her 'is there anyone in the world doing xxxx right now?' And the answer to her "are their any other 7 years out on the mountain in this storm right now?" Was a "NO!"
