Patterns in the mud.

I have posted a photograph of this view several times before but it is a view I love and the patterns in the mud are always different.  I had every intention of posting this in colour but I was having difficulty getting the colour balance right and it was just going to take too long to work it out.  There was an added interest today as I saw a man on a bike in the distance, cycling over the mudflats despite all the warning signs not to go near them.  I realise now that I have ignored warning signs in my life, literally and metaphorically, so I think it is a human failing to think we know best.
