Can we try cross processing next time dad?

Today we went to jessops to collect my ten year old's first ever film photos (school rightly wouldn't let the budding Leibovitz take her tiny Coolpix on the school trip).

Looking through the pictures was great but the best bit came at the end when she found the little strips of negatives in the back. "Er, dad, I think these are yours"

"No, pumpkin, they're yours. Theyre the bits of film that the prints are made from."

"Dad, what's film?" [holds up to light] "and why is my face green on these?"
