Horn flare

For a long time I've been calling this bit of my horn the "bell" but those that know about these things, (practically every other horn player in the world!) call it the flare. Thinking of trying another horn, these ones come with fancy garlands on their flares. And no that isn't the reason I'm thinking of trying them.
