Telephone Box

Whenever I see a telephone at night I'm reminded of the wonderful scenes in the film Local Hero where Peter Reigate is seen phoning Burt Lancaster and his constant looking for change!
BT quite often is willing to sell these phone boxes to local councils/community groups for a nominal sum I believe it's £1!
I thought it would be good if Bakewell Town Council took them over and turned them into a book lending library/art gallery... etc.
Anyway it was brought up in town council with the result that one of them is now going to house a defibrillator and the other one is not for sale as apparently BT has said that it's well used so that's that idea gone...
