Statue 'Quartet'

This statue I don't know anything about, but it is situated near eateries such as Fat Cat, in Chapel Bar. I remember the statue used to be somewhere else. From Picture the Past :
Looking towards Old Market Square. Made by Nottingham artist Richard Perry and unveiled by Princess Anne on Friday 5 December 1986. It was removed for the laying of new tram tracks (NET works) and was yet to be resited (as at December 2004).
The sculpture has since been reinstated in the pedestrianised zone on Chapel Bar, in between Angel Row and Upper Parliament Street. (2012) Information kindly supplied by Alex Lipinski.
I think the sculptor may have got his inspiration from trying to walk down a packed Clumber Street.
