A Winter's Day

Although not in a deep and dark December (amazing the number of times Simon and Garfunkel lyrics come to mind). Instead it was a beautiful crisp, cold and clear winter's day in January.

Up at 6:15am and had breakfast as it was clear I wasn't going to get back to sleep. The upside to getting up so early on a Sunday was that I got a few things done and then decided that I would drive towards East Kilbride to see if I could get an early blip. I ended up stopping at a garage to look at used cars and was tempted to trade in my car for something a bit more practical, but resisted (for now).

In the end I parked at the James Hamilton Heritage park although I thought it was called Stewartfield park until today.
