Strictly Come Ice Dancing...

Well, not quite, but it was lovely to watch!

When the ice has frozen over the lake I had yet to see a bird be brave moving on it any great distance, let alone brave it with such style as the one shown above!

It moved with such grace over the ice, but this didn't last long as it reached what it wanted, some water where the lake hadn't frozen, I only wish I could have captured it in motion, alas not, this was when it stopped briefly...
