Ryan Moore wins on Grandiloquent

Shooting racehorses at slower shutter speeds is best either split seconds after the post or mid way through a longer distance, when they are not driving the horse to go faster and hence their body movement is minimal as they keep in balance with the horse's movement. It is also important to get the horse on the right leg, in running. Finally, the reason I entered this one was because not only does it have horse in the favourable position, a split second after the post (visible behind the horse's rump) it also tells the , albeit knowing , viewer which racecourse he has won at , in this case Kempton. All in all, I'm happy that it fits the technical criteria, just wish Ryan had kept his head still better!
