Mono Monday - the 'middle' of nowhere

I wanted to get the 'middle' of some vines for this week's mono Monday shot, but was scuppered when my sandal broke on our dog walk this evening. So a solitary tree, in the middle of our barren landscape will have to do.

Bramble had her first day in her kennel & run today. I came home at lunch to check on her, and as I was driving up to the house noticed a rather familiar puppy laid out on the deck in the sunshine...she was very pleased with herself that she had escaped! Now into the garden with some chicken wire to patch up the gap...
