investigations of a dag

back blip as this has been a mental week, out three nights on the trot.
I'd be rubbish alcy.. far too tired for this malarky.
My head is aching. Red bull did not make the working day any faster, plus it's been rainy and a bit rubbish for a few days. The cherry blossom falling onto benches on Princess st probably is the nicest thing I've seen all day.

After a quick nap I struggle along to a fund raiser pub quiz for a new play a friend is putting on. Opted to just have one pint on at the waverly after that. A bit of an Edinburgh institution this place, the guy opens it when he feels like it, the pints come in dimpled handled glasses and the interior is David Lynch red and unchanged since 1973. It's held together with old theatre posters dating back to the 70's and 80's. Bottom right is a poster for Lazy Bed, a play I was in last year. Nice to be feel part of the topography

He kicks us all out by playing "God save the queen" at full volume.
A novel but very effective way to evacuate a pub in Scotland
