Mono Monday - Middle

Today's Mono Monday theme is "Middle".  This is the Heart of Midlothian in the Royal Mile. It marks a spot near the middle of the historic county of Midlothian of which Edinburgh is the county town.

It also marks the spot where an Old Tolbooth (prison) stood and tradition demands that you spit on the Heart of Midlothian so watch out!
