Was It Really So Long Ago

Mondays are a commuter's foe in my corner of the world. The county of Essex where I live, borders London and it has one major road heading to the capital city. I have the pleasure of using it daily, along with the rest of the world (or so it seems). In an attempt to avoid the worst of the traffic, I left early, leaving Beloved with a kiss and a promise of an alarm call a bit later. Master H had been awake again in the night, painfully growing the larger of his new teeth. So a gentle reminder of the approaching need to get the children to school was requested.

The temperature sat just below freezing, it was a cold, clear and crisp start to the day Anyway, 48 miles in only 80 minutes is a Monday triumph.

Have a great week all.
