Wound up in Wexford

A little piece of Lenwade

Before coming to live in Stoke, I lived for a while in the village of Lenwade.  I lived along The Street - a very common road name in Norfolk.  Just up the road was a boarded up building which had most recently been used as the village hall.

It was demolished, and I managed to rescue a bit of the wood.  I spent some time stripping off much of the paint and sanding it, and Walter has now finished the job and created a coat rack from it.

The village have now built a splendid new village hall which is just about to have it's official opening.
