The Life of Bri

Glenshee

Some days I actually remember that I am my own boss.

This was one of the those days.  Into the office first thing, then left at eleven to head to Glenshee in time for a half-day pass.  Blue skies, no wind - unheard of.

Not many lifts open, but there was enough for a Monday crowd, and the snow was great - occasionally thin, but no ice.  Met a couple of other telemarkers towards the end of the day - telemarkers seem to be a modest bunch, as we each told the others we weren't very good.

Getting cold when I left at 4.30 - minus 5 in the car park, and -9 down in the valley.

Home for tea and a catchup with work - tiring day but so good for the soul.
