Pine Siskin Battle

It was so very overcast today and clearly there was not enough light for an action shot, but I just couldn't resist.  

A few days ago I got a new thistle feeder and the pine siskins have been going crazy for it.  They were fun to watch in person, but I hadn't gotten the sense of how much competition and combat was taking place until I saw what I had captured with my camera.  I'm looking forward to capturing something better when we have a sunny day.  This feeder and the pine siskins could be a fun way to practice in-flight shots!

Not the best shot, but it does look sharper when you use the re-sizer (double arrow button)...
