Beautiful sunrise

Last night my camera finally died, it could be the battery (second in a month but both six years old!) but a crunching sound as the lense extends cannot be a good sign either... Anyway, as I drove along the country roads past Edinburgh airport this morning, the scene above appeared and I wondered if the camera on my reasonably new phone would capture it adequately. I am no expert but I must say I was pretty pleased with the outcome! I am still going to buy a new camera but it is nice to know that my phone is a more than adequate backup when needed.
