Bye bye Deirdre

If you live or come from the UK then I can only assume you've seen at least one episode of the longest running soap on our tvs.

Being born to a northern family we grew up with it, following the sagas every week of Coronation Street.

Yesterday announced the unexpected death of Anne Kirkbride, Deirdre Barlow as we knew her.

She had been part of corrie for 42 years,.

Best know for those whacky glasses and her gravelly voice( and dodgy perm back in the day).

Her cast members commented on her humour and yes to be married to Ken twice she needed that! So I'm sure if she's looking down she may have a little giggle at our very own Deirdre Beanlow and of course Ken!!
