Deviation

The deviation from vertical indicates something went wrong here.  A farmer fell behind in repairs and year after year the eastward tilt accelerated.  It was probably a happy barn once, full of life and welcoming to all, cattle and people alike. A farm boy and his girlfriend; a father and his dreams; a mother and her masked worries.

Cold wind shooting through the skeleton of what was - that's the only comfort now.  And the memories, thank God for the memories.
